King County Superior Court Announces Limited Services due to Coronavirus

UPDATE 3/16 @ 11:14AM: The clerk’s offices are closed at both the Main and Regional Justice Center. However, there are sides rooms with limited access to public terminals for document research. There are two terminals available for 10 minutes each, per person who waits in a line. The office hours have also changed for both locations: 8:30AM – 4:30PM while also being open during lunch time.

The King County Superior Court has issued the following notice:

CLERK’S ALERT 

Limited Counter Services Starting Monday 3/16/20

In order to discourage the spread of the Coronavirus and still accommodate those who must visit the courthouse, the Superior Court Clerk’s Office is now limiting counter services to one transaction counter at both the King County Courthouse and the Maleng Regional Justice Center.

Many Clerk’s Office services are offered on-line; please utilize our online services at this time.  If you would like information on doing business with us electronically, please see the below information page.

Please be advised that in-person visitors may experience longer than normal wait times.

Protection order services are not impacted by this reduction in counter services.
