King County, WA Superior Court Case Management Changes from ‘JAMS’ to ‘SCRIPT’

The King County Superior Court, which recently moved off of the State’s legacy case management system, SCOMIS, in favor of a platform from Journal Technologies called KC-JAMS, has made a name change!

Due to a potential lawsuit from another entity called JAMS, King County decided to switch to the new name of KC-SCRIPT. “SCRIPT” is not an acronym for anything in particular, according to the court.

As the Court has changed its system name, CourtTrax has accordingly updated all references to KC-JAMS in our interface to KC-SCRIPT to avoid any confusion of data origination for King County Superior Court cases.
