Harris County, TX District Court Access Returns with Electronic Documents!

We are excited to announce that access to Harris County, Texas District Court has been restored! Registered CourtTrax users can resume conducting name and case number searches in Harris County. Additionally, access to electronic document images has also been added to the CourtTrax interface!

Users can now purchase document images for Harris County District Court Civil and Criminal cases. However, keep in mind that the court does not make electronic document images available for Family cases. The available documents are the unaltered versions made available electronically by the court; they do not include any watermarks or other markings not present in the original images.

Effective January 1, 2014, the Texas State Supreme mandated electronic filing in all Civil Courts and restricts the courts from accepting paper filing from any filer other than Pro Se filers. For more information on how documents are handled by the State of Texas, click on the following link www.efiletexas.gov.
