The collection and redistribution of personal data and search activity online is becoming a hot topic these days. And at CourtTrax, our users’ privacy has always been of primary concern. Accordingly, we just wanted to provide a quick review of what we do, and what we will never do when it comes to our users’ information.
What Information About Me Is Collected and Stored?
We do not sell, barter, give away, or rent your personal information to any company outside of CourtTrax.
So that we can provide our users with the most efficient and enhanced experience, authorized users must register for a personal account accessible through a confidential password and username. For purposes of registration and subscription, we collect identifiable information about our users such as subscriber name, subscriber website, user ID, email address, telephone number, billing information and physical address, including zip code. We also collect and store information that is entered into this Website or that is provided through our help desk, customer service representatives, or requests for more information.
How We Use Our Customers’ Information?
As an example, from time to time when retrieving a document or researching a case filing, a court clerk will ask to know for whom we are requesting the document, or for what purpose. In all such instances we remind the clerk that the information is in the public record, and that such details are not their concern. Information on our clients and their inquiries is always kept confidential.
If you have any questions of data security at CourtTrax, or have any other inquiries regarding our products or services, contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or give us a call: 866-643-7084 (Option 2).
