VP of Sales - Immediate Interview

The Vice President of Sales will have oversight of all facets of the sales organization, including sales projections, staff hiring and management, sales policies and procedures and competitive analysis and strategy. The Vice President of Sales will be responsible for building a strong sales organization that achieves the revenue goals of the company, and fosters valuable and long-lasting relationships with clients.

Reports to: President/CEO
Required Experience:
  • 10+ years in direct product/services sales
  • 7+ years of demonstrable direct management responsibility
  • 7+ years in the court/legal/business information services industry
  • Bachelor.s degree from accredited four-year college or university. MBA preferred
  • Extensive experience in budgeting, financial planning, and forecasting projections
  • Computer literate, including strong Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel experience, and the aptitude to learn new technologies


Software Test Engineer

Purpose of the position is to develop and execute test plans and other product-testing duties, and to maintain quality standards and ensure the company's products and applications are bug-free and stable. Work with Product Development to establish and coordinate testing processes for new code and for code in production.

Reports to: Quality Assurance Manager
Specific Duties / Responsibilities:
  • Develop processes to assure the quality of designated software programs.
  • Perform testing as a primary responsibility.
  • Identify resources to perform testing on upcoming releases of designated software programs.
  • Develop a training program for temporary and permanent testers.
  • Provide leadership, coaching and mentoring for temporary testers.
  • Focus on pragmatic execution of testing activities to ensure successful, deployments of programs.
  • Manage defect/enhancement log for programs.
  • Assist in selecting, developing and improving software testing and bug reporting tools.
  • Develop and monitor metrics for evaluating success of testing effort.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve testing process on an on-going basis.
  • Special projects as required.
Hours: Office hours are 8am to 5pm. No travel is anticipated. Additional hours may be as required, based on project requirements.
Position
Requirements:
This is an exempt intermediate level position. The minimum requirements for this position are:

  • Minimum of four years software testing experience, some test management preferred.
  • Working knowledge of remote access retrieval processes, issues and data types.
  • Testing certificate preferred.
  • Additional software development experience preferred.
